Special Student Development Programmes Offered

(1) The ‘Growing Leaders’ programme in the area of Student Leadership is our Learning for Life Programme (LLP). We believe that every Coralite has the potential to become a Confident Leader of Sound Character through the structured and differentiated activities and meaningful experiences provided in the student leadership programme. (2) “Developing Innovative Learners through Design Thinking (DT)” is the school’s Applied Learning Programme (ALP), which will start in 2016. Students will actively seek to understand problems faced by users and develop innovative solutions using the DT approach. (3) The Values-In-Action programme for Sec 3 students allows Coralites to initiate, lead and work in groups to carry out a year-long Service-Learning (S-L) project to serve the community. (4) The CCA programme nurtures talents and shapes character. It provides opportunities to hone leadership skills, promote team and school spirit among Coralites, and cultivates an appreciation for the outdoors and the aesthetics. (5) The Enhance, Enrich and Excel academic programme caters to the diverse talents and abilities of Coralites. We have programmes to stretch or support students’ learning, e.g. Maths and Science Olympiad, Humanities Scholars’ programme. (6) The Internationalisation programme enables Coralites to develop a global outlook and to be culturally savvy. Every Coralite has an opportunity to experience an overseas learning journey. Coral partners with a school in Sichuan, China for the benefit of staff and students.
