Signature programmes: Attributes of Learners in the 21st Century (ALiCe) programme, Project Work and Student Research which develop 21st century communication, collaboration and information skills, while sharpening students’ critical and inventive thinking via applied learning opportunities; TK Current Affairs which builds general knowledge and discernment; Strengthening Knowledge, Imparting Lifelong Learning Strategies (SKILLS) Programme which develops in students skills for deepening learning; Project Serve which emphasizes giving back to society as an important dimension of success; TK Student Leadership programme which develops students as leaders for society; Outdoor Education at TK where Sec 1-3 students attend adventure and service-learning camps locally and overseas, designed to stretch them mentally, physically and emotionally while instilling firm beliefs and confidence in their own ability to succeed; and Twinning programmes with schools in China, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam, to broaden students’ global outlook and increase cultural quotient. Students also participate in the Julia Gabriel Singapore Secondary Schools Debating Championships and the CB Paul Science Quiz. TKSS is renowned for its vibrancy and excellence in a range of CCAs in sports, the performing arts and uniformed groups. TeamTK’s sportsmen and sportswomen have excelled in various sports such as Netball, Floorball and Soccer. The Uniformed Groups have a proven track record and have continuously excelled in various national competitions. TKSS is the East Zone Centre of Excellence (COE) for Character and Citizenship Education as well as Design Education. As a COE, TK leads in the teaching and learning and supports collaboration in these areas in East Zone schools.
