The school is a Design Centre in the North 7 Cluster. We are the 1st school to sign a MOU for the setting up of the Autodesk Edulab which provides our students with a strong foundation in Design. The school has been awarded Business Excellence Niche (People) Standard from Oct 2009. Special Student Development Programmes Offered
The school has two distinctive programmes to provide holistic development of students: Learning for Life Programme (LLP) – ‘Learners and Leaders for Life’ and Applied Learning Programme (ALP) – ‘Material Science for Sustainable Living’. The ‘Learners and Leaders for Life’ programme aims to develop student leaders to attain the 3A qualities of Awareness, Affection and Ability to Act while the ‘Material Science for Sustainable Living’ programme aims to nurture students to be self-directed and become dynamic learners with a keen interest in STEM-related domains such as materials science. The school also offers the following programmes and learning experiences: Autodesk Inventor Programme, Design & Innovation Programme, Elective Modules and Advanced Elective Modules [AEM] in collaboration with Polytechnics, Environmental Education [EE], Experiential Learning, Inter-disciplinary Mobile Learning Experience, Overseas Learning Experience and Student Work Attachment.
