Special Student Development Programmes Offered
Under the Learning for Life Programme (LLP) in the area of Student Leadership, students are nurtured to be responsible citizens who can lead themselves and others. At the Equipping stage, there is training for the masses via the 360 Degree Leadership programmes. Further training is customised for the various student leader groups e.g. Service Learning for CCA leaders and prefects. At the Exposure stage, student leaders are involved in student-initiated service learning projects. They can then apply their learning to initiate service learning projects in school, in the community, or on overseas service learning trips. At the Developmental stage, different leadership foci are identified for various grade levels, so that our students are guided in their development to enhance ownership of their learning and growth. Self, peer and teacher assessment of leadership qualities demonstrated by our students are included so that they can work towards exhibiting the hallmark of a student leader which encompasses Qualities and Skills & Knowledge. The LLP is aligned to our Character and Citizenship Education Programme which includes Values-in-Action and Level Camps. To further promote lifelong learning and talent development, students are involved in Innovation & Enterprise programmes and Enhanced Learning Programme.
