Other school features and achievements

  YJC offers flexible subject combination in order to cater to the needs and interests of students. YJC students are given the option to study subjects of their choice if they meet subjects’ prerequisites. YJC clinched the top Academic Value-Added Award in 2004. YJC continues to sustain the value-added award in 2005 and 2006. YJC received the 9th Sustained Achievement Award in Physical Fitness in 2007. She also received the MPFPA (MINDEF Physical Fitness Performance Award) Merit Award in 2004. Secondary school students with good academic results who choose the College as their first choice for their JC education are eligible to apply for the Yishun Junior College Academic Scholarship Awards.
