Well known for its public performances in Chinese Opera, BPians have gained invaluable experiences learning and appreciating this unique art form. The school is a recipient of the School Distinction Award as well as the Best Practice Award in 4 areas: Teaching and Learning, Character and Citizenship Education, Student All-Round Development and Staff Well-Being and Development. Other awards include the Singapore Quality Class, People Developer and Lotus Award.

ART ELECTIVE PROGRAMME
Special Student Development Programmes Offered
The school offers an extensive science enrichment programme for students to pursue their passion in Science. The programme includes enrichment activities such as Astronomy, Robotics, Micromouse and Solar-Sprint and, science research. Under the Malay Elective Programme in Malay Language for Secondary Schools (EMAS), students have the opportunities to develop a deeper appreciation of the Malay language and culture, as well as participate in varied enrichment programmes, local and overseas. The Art Elective Programme exposes students to various art forms including painting, ceramics, sculpture, film making, digital art and mixed media. Other programmes include the Cross-cultural Programme, Talent Management Programme, Lifeskills and Leadership Development Programmes.
