Community & Youth Leadership“Leaders with Character, Leaders in Character”: Character Development through Leadership Camps

Special Student Development Programmes Offered

The school’s Learning for Life Programme (LLP) – ‘Leaders with Character, Leaders in Character’, is part of the student leadership development programme, where students attend leadership camps during their Secondary 1 to Secondary 3 years. The Secondary 3 camp comprises an overseas adventure trip. The LLP aims to equip our students with the skills and values of a community leader strongly anchored in character to play a leading role at various social settings. We offer Direct School Admission (DSA) to students with strong leadership qualities and especially in areas of service to the larger community. The school’s Learning Beyond Boundaries Programme provides our students with immersion opportunities with students from Japan, Thailand and China. This programme allows our students to push their learning frontiers, provides opportunities for active citizenry, self-discovery and increases multi-cultural literacy through purposeful partnership arrangements with schools. The school runs a Badminton Development Programme for the school badminton team which includes a structured local training regime throughout the year and overseas training opportunities during the school holidays. The school badminton teams benefited from this programme in terms of skills and competencies, character and leadership development and thus, the boy’s teams have sustained their position among the top 4 (West Zone) in the National Schools Games.
